This course is designed to understand the functional movements of the human body, and learns and understands the basic principles and functional characteristics of the musculoskeletal system based on the principles of exercise science. The overall overview of driving rehabilitation, the role of occupational therapist, physical and cognitive perceptual factors for driving rehabilitation, and the evaluation process, aids, assistive technologies and interventions are studied. Also, based on this process, learn about driving rehabilitation according to disease. Identify the role of occupational therapist in driving rehabilitation, the factors necessary for driving, and know the assistive equipment and modification necessary for driving.

In this course, basic neurophysiology, sensorimotor system, and characteristics of the nervous system are studied in order to understand the nervous system involved in functional movements and activities of human. This course provides occupational therapy students to study basic neurophysiology, CNS and PNS components, sensorimotor systems and neurological characteristics involved in human movements for 15 weeks. Through this course, we will understand the characteristics of the human brain and use it as an evidence based to approach neurological occupational therapy.

This course provides a practice-oriented curriculum in which students systematically analyze the actual needs for sensory integration (ASI) services among infants, children, and adolescents in the community, and engage in the full process of problem identification, service planning, prototype development, field implementation, and outcome evaluation. By reflecting the developmental characteristics of children and the needs of local institutions, students design customized sensory integration programs and apply service-design methodologies to enhance intervention quality and build sustainable, community-based service models.

Students experience patients and learn through the clinical training. Students are able to perform occupational therapy at the clinical facilities that they desired to work.
