The Stay Strong Together (SST) Family Camp took place from October 31 to November 2 at High1 Choo‑Choo Park in Dogye‑eup. The camp was organized by the Gangwon Domin Ilbo, in partnership with Kangwon National University’s Dogye Campus, the Korean Association of Occupational Therapists, and the Gangwon Provincial Disability Health Center, with support from Samcheok City, the Samcheok City Council, and the city Public Health Center. All students from first to fourth year took part, enjoying a wide range of activities despite the rainy weather. Although the event coincided with heavy rain, the students welcomed it as a blessing after a long drought in the nearby Gangneung area. Many enjoyed beach activities in the rain, describing it as a “refreshing and memorable experience.” Lunch on the first day was a picnic-style meal, while dinner featured a barbecue party. The mealtime atmosphere was further brightened by raffle draws and a singing contest, which brought plenty of laughter. Later that evening, professors joined the students for dinner, creating a warm and open space for conversation. Student council president Shin Da-rang, who led the event, shared her thoughts: “I’m very grateful that so many students participated. The 2025 cohort includes 49 university teams, three general youth teams, and five teams continuing from the first cohort. Participants will engage in mental health awareness campaigns and activities to improve campus environments over a seven-month period from May to November. The selection of both teams from Kangwon National University highlights the students’ dedication to mental health advocacy and their strong planning capabilities. Their projects are expected to make meaningful contributions to community mental health promotion going forward.

[2025년 강원대학교 작업치료학과 체육대회 – “4력을 다해 뛰어랑, 4랑둥이들아!”] 지난 2025년 4월 4일, “4력을 다해 뛰어랑, 4랑둥이들아!”라는 부제 아래 강원대학교 작업치료학과 체육대회가 학우 여러분의 뜨거운 열기와 참여 속에 성황리에 개최되었습니다. 이번 행사는 작업치료학과 학생회가 주관하여 학우들 간의 친목을 도모하고, 학과의 단합을 다지는 소중한 자리였습니다. 오전에는 체육관에서 짝게임, 피구, 릴레이 게임 등 다채로운 프로그램이 진행되었으며, 모두가 함께 어우러져 즐겁고 뜻깊은 시간을 보냈습니다. 이어진 점심시간에는 학우들이 함께 식사를 나누며 화기애애한 분위기를 이어갔고, 오후에는 운동장으로 자리를 옮겨 줄다리기와 계주 경기가 펼쳐졌습니다. 경쟁보다는 화합과 협동의 의미가 더욱 빛났던 순간이었습니다. 특히 이번 체육대회에서 4조(꿀단지조 2조 + 3조)가 총점 5,255점을 기록하며 영예의 1등을 차지하였습니다. 응원 점수만으로도 1등을 차지한 1조의 열정적인 응원은 현장 분위기를 더욱 뜨겁게 만들었습니다. 또한, 학과 교수님들께서도 자리를 함께해주시어 학생들의 경기를 응원해주셨고, 그 따뜻한 격려 덕분에 더욱 뜻깊은 시간이 되었습니다. 모든 경기가 마무리된 후에는 간단한 시상식과 뒤풀이가 이어졌으며, 체육대회는 웃음과 열정이 넘치는 분위기 속에서 잊지 못할 하루로 마무리되었습니다. 이번 체육대회를 통해 작업치료학과 학우들 간의 유대감은 한층 더 깊어졌으며, 앞으로도 이러한 자리를 통해 지속적인 교류와 소통이 이어지기를 기대합니다. 참여해주신 모든 학우 여러분과 행사를 위해 애써주신 분들께 진심으로 감사드립니다. -15대 학생회 단지 홍보부- ----- [2025 Kangwon National University Department of Occupational Therapy Sports Day – “Run with All Your 4-power, Our Sa-rang Stars!”] On April 4, 2025, the Department of Occupational Therapy at Kangwon National University held its annual sports day under the theme, “Run with All Your 4-power, Our Sa-rang Stars!” The event was a huge success, filled with excitement and enthusiastic participation from all students. Organized by the student council, the sports day aimed to strengthen friendships among classmates and build unity within the department. The morning kicked off with fun activities in the gym, including partner games, dodgeball, and relays. Everyone joined in, creating a joyful and meaningful time. During lunchtime, students shared a meal together and continued bonding in a friendly and warm setting. In the afternoon, we moved to the outdoor field for a tug-of-war and relay races. Rather than focusing on competition, the spirit of teamwork and harmony truly stood out. A special shoutout goes to Team 4 (a combo of Honey Jar Teams 2 and 3), who took home first place with an impressive total score of 5,255 points! Team 1 also made a big impression by winning the cheering contest with their energetic and passionate support, lighting up the entire event. We were also honored to have our professors join us to cheer on the students, making the day even more meaningful with their encouragement and support. After all the games, we wrapped up the day with a short awards ceremony and a casual afterparty. The sports day came to a close in an unforgettable atmosphere full of laughter, energy, and great memories. Through this event, the bond among students in the Department of Occupational Therapy has grown even stronger. We hope to continue building on this spirit of connection and communication through more events in the future.
