강원대학교(총장 정재연) 보건과학대학은 지난 11월 19일 도계캠퍼스 국제회의장에서 *‘삼척·도계 지역사회 문제 해결을 위한 실천적 접근 포럼’*을 개최했다. 보건과학대학(김상돌 대학장)과 EDUPIA 삼척교육특구발전사업단(김남희 단장)이 공동 주최한 이번 포럼은 인구감소와 고령화 등 지역이 직면한 문제를 대학과 지역사회가 함께 논의하는 자리로 마련됐다.

행사와 연계해 진행된 *‘로컬업케이션(Local-up-cation) 경진대회’*에서는 보건과학대학 9개 학과 학생들이 지역 현안을 주제로 다양한 해결 아이디어를 발표했다. 그중 작업치료학과 DOGYE+her 팀이 ‘유니버설 디자인 in 도계’를 주제로 지역의 보행 환경과 공공시설 접근성 개선 전략을 제안해 최우수상을 수상했다.

DOGYE+her 팀(신다랑, 이경민, 조예솔, 정문기, 오현서, 김민희, 홍성희, 홍혜진, 김중석 / 지도교수 장우혁)은 도계 지역을 직접 조사해 고령자와 장애인의 이동 불편 요소를 분석하고, 단계별 유니버설 디자인 적용 방안을 제시해 높은 평가를 받았다. 지역 적용 가능성이 높은 실천적 제안으로 인정받은 대상 팀에는 장학금 300만 원이 수여됐다.

보건과학대학은 이번 포럼이 대학–지역사회 협력이 강화되는 계기가 되었으며, 학생들이 지역문제 해결의 주체로 참여하는 교육 모델을 지속 확장하겠다고 밝혔다.

Kangwon National University Occupational Therapy Students Win Grand Prize with “Universal Design in Dogye” Project

Kangwon National University (President Jae-Yeon Jeong) successfully held the “Practical Approaches to Solving Community Issues in Samcheok and Dogye Forum” on November 19 at the International Conference Hall of the Dogye Campus. Co-hosted by the College of Health Sciences (Dean Sang-Dol Kim) and the EDUPIA Samcheok Education Special Zone Project Group (Director Nam-Hee Kim), the forum aimed to address key regional challenges such as population decline and rapid aging through collaboration between the university, local community, and public institutions.

As part of the event, the Local-up-cation Competition featured innovative proposals from nine departments within the College of Health Sciences. Among them, the Occupational Therapy Department’s team “DOGYE+her” won the Grand Prize for their project “Universal Design in Dogye.”

The team—composed of Shin Darang, Lee Kyungmin, Cho Yesol, Jeong Munki, Oh Hyunseo, Kim Minhee, Hong Seonghee, Hong Hyejin, and Kim Joongseok under the supervision of Professor Woo-Hyuk Jang—conducted a field survey to identify barriers faced by older adults and people with disabilities in the Dogye area. Their proposal presented practical, step-by-step strategies to enhance accessibility and mobility through universal design improvements.

The project received high praise for its feasibility and community impact, and the Grand Prize included a scholarship of 3 million KRW. The College of Health Sciences stated that the forum demonstrated the value of university–community cooperation and reaffirmed its commitment to expanding student-driven regional problem-solving initiatives.

江原大学作业治疗学系以“道溪无障碍设计”项目夺得大奖

江原大学（校长郑在渊）于11月19日在道溪校区国际会议厅成功举办了“为解决三陟/道溪社区问题的实践性论坛”。本次论坛由保健科学大学（院长金相乭）与 EDUPIA 三陟教育特区发展事业团（金南希 团长）共同主办，旨在通过大学、社区及公共机构的协作，应对人口减少与高龄化等地区核心挑战。

论坛同期举行的 “Local-up-cation 地方问题解决竞赛” 中，保健科学大学9个学系提出了多项创新方案。其中特别引人注目的是，作业治疗学系的“DOGYE+her”团队凭借《道溪无障碍设计（Universal Design in Dogye）》项目荣获大奖。

团队成员包括 申多朗、李敬敏、赵艺率、郑文基、吴贤瑞、金敏希、洪成希、洪惠珍、金仲锡，指导教授为 张祐赫。他们通过实地调查，分析了道溪地区高龄者与残障人士在日常出行中所面临的环境障碍，并提出了可操作性强、分阶段实施的无障碍设计改善策略。

该方案因其高度可行性与对社区的积极影响而获得高度评价。大奖附带的奖学金金额为 300万韩元。保健科学大学表示，此次论坛展示了大学与社区合作的价值，并将继续推进以学生为中心的区域问题解决教育模式。
